My final year work is inspired by pattern and details found in architecture from Barcelona. Design,innovation and
colour theory are what drives me and my work,always producing strong
drawing research at the beginning of any projects, so my design work always
comes from a very personal view point...
Research Photographs
A key concept of my collection was bringing together multiple woven structures and bold colours in the one scarf piece to reflect my research drawings and colour research. Another key factor in my development of my final collection, was bringing together contrasting patterns within a single scarf piece.With the idea of 'opposites attract' always being the basis of my work, and this I hope brings a fresh look to woven textiles...
